Responsible for assigned tasks and projects related to various business and clinical information systems for all hospitals in the CMC System. Demonstrates the deepest level of functional and application knowledge in regards to data retrieval out of disparate systems (ie: DSS, Clinical, Marketing, etc), manipulation of data (using such tools/abilities as parsing, access databases, pivot tables, etc) and summarizing it into a usable format. Provides support to facility administration in regards to their data needs for measuring new/existing services, feasibility studies, market studies, etc. Assists the director and/or assistant CFO in various facility based financial functions including but not limited to, helping to coordinate and analyze the annual facility budget creation as well as assisting management in reviewing financial performance, recommends alternatives for reporting and monitors operational and financial goals.
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. Bachelor's degree and 5 years relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Master's degree. PREFERRED: Three or more years experience performing business analysis in the health care field.
