We’re affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility; trained 3,000 Medical DoctorS to date plus continuous invests in research and training grants.

    Responsibilities

    Serves as a resource and is responsible for the overall functioning of Social Work and Discharge Planning services provided by department personnel. Responsible for assisting the manager with providing leadership to the department, including maximizing personnel abilities and competencies, problem resolution, department orientation, and mentoring. Assist in overseeing the inpatient and emergency department mental health/5150 assessment process, and clinical oversight of the CMC Dialysis facilities. May perform Social Work Care Coordinator and Discharge Planning functions as needed.

    Qualifications

    Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work. Three to five years experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting and supervisory experience. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or must obtain LCSW license within 6 months of hire.
