    • Performs a wide variety of administrative duties requiring significant judgment and direction.
    • Independently assesses situations and formulates methodology to complete assignments.
    • Maintains extensive knowledge of organizational activities.
    • Responds to inquiries, referring to others when appropriate.

    Prior healthcare executive support is desired but not required. If you have not been part of a large healthcare organization before, you can expect this role to be unlike others you may have experienced before.  As a healthcare provider, our environment can be quite complex and unfamiliar, even for those who have been with the organization for a period of time.  Someone that can be comfortable with being uncomfortable, and will ask a lot of questions, is more likely to succeed.   


    In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

    • Compiles reports and composes correspondence with limited directions, requiring analytical skills and a high degree of independence. Demonstrates excellent writing, editing and formatting skills.
    • Maintains calendar for assigned executive, exercising judgment as to when and how long to schedule appointments. Revises calendar as necessary based on changing priorities
    • Receives and screens inquiries in the form of telephone calls, mail, and visitors. Transmits detailed information, answer questions, take accurate messages and refer inquiries to the appropriate individuals. Open all incoming mail, screen and prioritize for needed action and follow up.


    Necessary skills for this role include:

    • High degree of initiative, time management and organizational skills to manage multiple activities, tasks and projects in order to meet deadlines.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize projects.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Ability to finesse competing client priorities while appreciating political nuances.

    Experience and education minimum requirements:

    • Associates degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of five years of progressive administrative support experience.
    • Prior experience supporting an executive is highly desired.
