    Community Regional Medical Center provides central California with the highest level of care available in the region.     Responsibilities

    Provides chairside assistance or operating room assistance to a dentist or oral surgeon. Assists in preparing patients, equipment, tools, and operating areas for oral maintenance, tooth repair or extraction. Performs clerical tasks related to patient care.

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma/GED. Successful completion of a Dental Assistant training program approved by the State Board of Dental Examiners. Certificate of completion of a course in radiation safety approved by the California State Board of Dental Examiners, which included theory and clinical application in radiographic technique.

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of California. Current BLS certification.
