Community Medical Centers has been providing central California with the highest level of care available in the region. The Staff Perfusionist is responsible for operation of extra-corporal equipment providing care and/or support activities appropriate for all ages served. Duties include cardiopulmonary bypass, auto transfusion, intra aortic balloon pump counter pulsation, stand-by support, short and long term ventricular assist, and other related assignments deemed necessary to support Perfusion Services.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Graduation from an accredited perfusion program. Credentialed by the CMC Medical Staff Office as an Allied Health Professional and privileged to perform Perfusionist standardized procedures.
PREFERRED: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree.
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Current BLS and ACLS certification.
