Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. In this role you will work closely with our Orthopedic and Spine surgeons that are highly trained, board certified, and dedicated to managing and treating orthopedic and spine related diseases and conditions.
You and your team members will develop and enhance significant specialized skills that can best be honed in a specialized team like ours. Your duties as an orthopedic nurse will include participating in daily care coordination rounds, implementing the plan of care, administering medications, wound care, cardiac monitoring, educating patients and their families on steps to manage pain, how to avoid post-surgical infections, and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Minimum requirements include; Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program. Current RN license for the state of California, BLS, Basic Arrythmia must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
Orthopedic Nurse Certification preferred.
Qualities and experience we are looking for:
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
