Responsible for the day-to-day applications support of RIS and PACS equipment including modality workflow, archiving, quality assurance of data, and other related activities. Works closely with PACS Administrator, RIS Administrator, Department Managers, and supervisors to ensure proper operation of DICOM digital image data transfer into the PACS and RIS validation and exceptions handling.
Four or more years of related experience in radiology operations in an acute hospital setting. Imaging modality operation experience with workflow knowledge and assessment abilities. Excellent written/oral communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Solid computer skills; operating systems software and Web browser. PREFERRED: Familiarity with radiology information systems applications
Licenses/Certifications Preferred: Current Registry in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) preferred.
