    In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

    • Responsibilities include identification of signs and symptoms that signal appropriateness for SLP examination and also the actual examination, evaluation, planning, organizing, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients.
    • Participates in case conferences and discharge planning.
    • Develops and implements developmentally and culturally appropriate education to meet needs of patient and family.
    • Communicates effectively with other patient care team members and coordinates care provided.
    • Coordinates/supervises student clinical educational
    • Implement therapy according to established plan, utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment and techniques within the scope of speech-language pathology.
    • Educate the patient and/or the caregiver about the findings of the examination, evaluation, established goals of the speech-language pathology program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention, and other related information.
    • Communicates effectively with other patient care team members and coordinates care provided.
    • Assist in directing SLP Assistants with their caseloads and their documentation.
    • Work in an environment that requires seven-day-a-week coverage.


    Experience and education minimum requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Two years experience.
    • State of California Speech-Language Pathology license.
    • Current BLS certification.
