Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has an exciting opportunity for an Ultrasound Supervisor! Our Ultrasound department is dedicated to advanced imaging technology that offers a number of different specializations when it comes to medical sonography. Our hospital-based Sonography training program at CRMC is one of two in the entire nation that is accredited in all four sonography disciplines (General Sonography, Adult Cardiac Echo, Pediatric Echo and Vascular Sonography). Our Ultrasound department provides inpatient, outpatient and emergency services.

In this role you’ll function as a clinical leader and expert in ultrasound. You will ensure staff are trained and developed to perform their assigned duties. As a working supervisor, you will be expected to actively participate in scanning patients and in assisting with ultrasound guided procedures. Experience in general, vascular, and OB preferred. In collaboration with the Radiologists, you will develop protocols that improve workflow and patient care.
You will be someone with a strong clinical leadership background and an expert in ultrasound services. MINIMUM REQUIRED: Associate of Arts degree (AA). Three years’ experience in a hospital Ultrasound department setting. Experience in staff education development and implementation, quality improvement, program development and professional development.
MINIMUM REQUIRED: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN. Current BLS certification.
